Charitable Gift Annuity - Estate Gifts - Endowment Support
A $50,000 estate or charitable annuity gift can endow a LuMin student leadership position and this position will be named your name honor or the name of a loved one. Student leadership is an essential part of campus ministry. Not only do paid positions support students while they are at college, they give young adults the opportunity to be richly involved in the local faith community and make connections with the greater church. The funds will be added to the ministry's endowment fund and grow while interest each year will pay the salary of a part-time student leader. They will be known as the “John and Betty Smith LuMin Student Leader” and your picture and the story of your gift will be told over and over again. Of course, larger and smaller gifts are welcomed. Set of sharp kitchen knives - our kitchen knives are very dull and therefore not very useful. A new set or someone that is able to come sharpen the ones that we have would be very much appreciated!
Volunteer Building Manager - every building needs regular maintenance to function properly and efficiently. A volunteer is needed to track and complete regular maintenance, do minor repairs, and seek bids for greater needs
Volunteer Grounds Manager - the outside of the building is underdeveloped. A volunteer is needed to help design a landscaping plan and lead others in planting and maintaining an ecologically sound and beautiful green space.
Grocery gift cards - ($50 can serve 20 students) or $25 cards to hand out to students
Neighborhood gift cards - to Krazy Karl's Pizza, Qdoba, or Fuzzy's to provide safe food for small groups
A fresh coat of paint over repaired and sealed siding... or a crew to help paint the building
